Princess Everly, Our First Ever Rainbow Princess
A Journey That Began With Courage
Everly’s story with 406 for Kids began in 2019, when she was just two years old. While most toddlers are learning new words, exploring playgrounds, and discovering the world with wide‑eyed wonder, Everly was beginning treatment for childhood cancer.
At the very same time, her mother Jodie was giving birth just down the hall to Everly’s baby sister, Olivia.
Overnight, their family grew to four children—and their world changed in ways no parent ever expects.
One Hundred Days of Strength
The first 100 days were some of the hardest. Everly and her mother spent the holidays in isolation at Logan Children’s Hospital, navigating treatments, procedures, and the constant uncertainty that comes with fighting such a serious disease.
When they finally walked out of the hospital together, life looked completely different. There were checkups, medications, and the nonstop emotional weight of caring for a child in treatment.
But there was also love—so much love—and a determination to keep moving forward.
Finding Sunshine in the Hard Moments
Over the years, 406 for Kids had the privilege of walking alongside Everly’s family. Sometimes that meant providing bedding to make long hospital nights a little softer.
Other times it meant being a listening ear, a steady presence, or simply a reminder that they weren’t alone.
